Follow one of the pre-Inca trail systems from one side of the Cordillera Blanca to the other. This ancient trail takes you past tiny mud huts where the sturdy mountain dwellers still live, over a high mountain pass, and back down to the historic temples of Chavin.

Itinerary:

Day 01: Huaraz / Transfer toCanrey Chico / Sacracancha Camp (3850mt) Camp
Head out for the small village of Olleros where we meet up with our llamas. After loading them with our supplies we head off camping that evening near a scenic lake.

Day 02: Sacracancha / Trekking Yanashallash Pass (4704mt) / Shonkoruri Camp (4088mt) Camp
Hike on up and over the high pass keeping our eyes open for the rare Andean Condor. Camp that night is on the other side of the pass

Day 03: Shoncu / Trekking to Chavin (3150mt) / Transfer to Huaraz
