Circuit Alpamayo Trekking & Pisco climbing 15 days




Fabulous circuit that starts in Cedros Valley” It is a trail full of turquoise lagoons, mountains of more than 6000 masl, beautiful valleys and many high passes with magnificent visws.and soon we to ascend to the mountain Pisco 5752m.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Huaraz _ Hualcayan Camp at (2900mt)
On the way we have visits to Yungay where there is a memorial to the thousands of people killed in the 1970 earthquake, and then the colourful local market at Caraz.

Day 2: Hualcayan _ wishcash Camp at (4300mt)
Climb steadily in a zig zag path from Hualcayan to Wishcash 4300m.4 to 5 hours hiking

Day 3: Wishcash _ Ruina Pampa Camp at (3800mt)
Cullicocha 4850m, then cross the first pass Paso Osoruri 4750m. A long descent to camp at Ruinapampa 3800m 8 hours

Day 4: Ruina Pampa _ Cruze Alpamayo at (4150mt)
An easy walk to reach Cruse Alpamayo, 3 hours walking

Day 5: Extra day at Cruse Alpamayo Camp to appreciate the stunning views of Alpamayo.
Visit Laguna Jancarurish or Alpamayo Base Camp (4500m).

Day 6: Cruze Alpamayo _ Pass Cara Cara (4830m) _ Sajuna at (4200m)
Climb to the often windy pass Cara Cara 4830m from where we have more fantastic views of Alpamayo and the lakes, and then traverse to another pass Mesapata 4500m and before descending to camp at Lake Safuna 4200m 6 to7 hours.

Day 7: Sajuna _ Paso Pucajirca (4600m) _ Jancapampa at (3600mt)
From Safuna to another pass Paso Pucajirca (4600m) and camp in the open grassy valley of Jancapampa 3600m 7 to 8 hours. There are a lot of farming families living in the valley.

Day 8: Jancapampa _ Laguna Huecrococha at (3950m)
We pass by many adobe farm houses, sheep, cattle and horses while climbing up to the pass Pass Tupatupa adana yurtları 4400m and descend to camp beside the small lake Laguna Huecrococha (3950m). 6 to7 hours

Day 9: Laguna Huecrococha _ Pass Alto de Pucaraju (4650m) _ Paria at (4200mt)
Pass Alto de Pacaraju 4650m from where we have breathtaking views of the mountain Taulliraju, then a steep descent to camp in a lovely quiet valley at Paria (4250m). 6 to7 hours

Day 10: Paria _ Pacchapata at (3760m)
At first we walk easily down the Huaripampa Valley passing through farming settlements and villages to Colcabamba. We then climb gently to camp pacchapata at 3760m. 5 hours

Day 11: Pacchapata _ Pass Portachuelo (4752m) _ Cebollapampa at (4100m)
From our camp in Pacchapampa began the ascent to reach Portachuelo (2 h) from where they have splendid views of Huascaran north (6768 m), Huascaran south (6650 m), Chopicalqui (6354 m), Huandoy (6395 m), Pisco (5752 m). 5 hours

Day 12: Cebollapampa _ Base Camp Pisco at 4300mt
This day so we headed to Pisco base camp with our personal. 2:00 Hour of walking

Day 13: Rest day _ Base Camp Pisco at 4300m
The plan is for everyone to have a rest day with only some easy hiking to keep the legs loose, for Pisco Climbing.

Day 14: Base Camp Pisco Summit Pisco (5752mt) _ Base Camp at (4300mt)
Summit day! Wake at 1:00am and after a light breakfast depart for the summit. Arrive at the summit about 7am and discover why everyone talks about the view! Return to camp and continue on back down to the Base Camp

Day 15: Base Camp _ Return to Huaraz
We trek out to Llanganuco and then return to Huaraz.Time to relax after the climbing and celebrate.
